Flawless and Fair vs. Wrinkly and Dark!

18 Apr

How many of us LOVE the sun.  I do and I LOVED sun bathing.  I would do all the outside chores, I would play the guitar out in the sun.  I would lay a blanket out on the grass and do homework.  I would do a ton just out in the sun! I used to try to be two to three shades darker in foundation and all over.  I have a friend that LOVES to fake bake and she used to tell me “Tan fat is better than white fat!”  haha still makes me laugh.  Although sometimes I think that is true.  I finally decided I would rather have flawless fair skin than Wrinkly dark skin.  Now don’t get me wrong I wish I was just a couple shades darker, but if I have to choose between aging and fair skin I have decided I would rather be fair.  The FDA and health department says we need to have atleast 30spf on our faces every day whether the sun is out or not.  I have a friend that got skin cancer from the iradescent lights in her office building.  You never know where the damage is coming from!  Decide today you are going to take better care of your skin!  I know for me.  I have not sun bathed since high school I go out in the sun.  But I don’t go out for the only purpose to sunbathe and I also put sunscreen on.  I know some of us that are oily skin have problems with sunscreen because it just makes us feel oily.  I had to find a sunscreen that is made specifically for the face and that is light.  Then it didn’t make me more oily and make me feel like grease pit.  So make sure you find the right kind 🙂  Much love to you and your skin!  Take care of it because guess what you will have it for the rest of your life.  You might can pay a doctor to move it around but unless you get a face plant you will have the skin you have chosen to take care of or the lack therof.

Great post! It’s so important to take care of your skin, and oily people can always find oil free sunscreens. And white people can always get fake tans! There are some good ones that look great and natural!…Although they always smell a little..

You know what they say, there is no such thing as a healthy tan. I just wish I wasn’t so dang Irish white. 😀

haha I know so true 🙂 but I like to think of it as porcelain skin and that usually is a compliment make your skin flawless and you will have porcelain fair skin 🙂

Very true. I have done the spray tans and airbrush tans before and they work to give you a little color in a pinch. I just wish they didn’t flake off in places instead of fading slowly away. Kind of a dead giveaway when you have a bright white patch on your butt surrounded by a flawless tan. LOL.

haha yeah that was the first time I did it and on my chest it was like speckly 🙂 not a fabulous look! I totally wish it would wear off like a normal tan.
