Do you Hate Obesity?

Ok so I read this article about Meme roth and to be honest I had no idea who it was, but I couldn’t stop reading it because it was just so interesting.  Very controversial I think but I am curious what you all think.  I guess she is disgusted with americans and the obesity epidemic.  Which I agree we have very bad eating habits and we pass it on to our children.  I think that is the worst part harming our children.  Now the harm is how she does it.  Some people think she goes WAY over the line, and some maybe agree with her.  What is your take?  Have you heard of Meme roth?  Do you agree with anything she says or all?  Just curious.  I agree we teach our children how to eat and that is where I fear for the future generations.  In this article Gabby at one point tries to ask Meme what she eats, what a typical day looks like and she seemed very shy about sharing.  It was 4:00pm and she agreed she hadn’t eaten anything, but she says she has never been anorexic.  Now not sure what the exact definition she thinks is but this is one of the defintions Anorexia nervosa is an eating disorder characterized by excessive food restriction and irrational fear of gaining weight, and a distorted body self-perception.  Meme agrees that her family is fat.  And said she was embarassed and I know when that happens you do have an irrational fear maybe and so even if she still eats but she might just have a case of anorexia.  Not to say we shouldn’t watch what we eat and become healthy.  I just think sometimes we need to watch what we say because you don’t motivate “FAT” people by telling them they are fat.  Trust me it doesn’t help I have been there 🙂  Let me know what you think?  I would love to hear.

Pickling Perfection!!

How many of you love PICKLES!!  I know I know they say when you are pregnant ice cream and pickles, and to be honest I really did crave pickles and ice cream just not at the same time.  🙂  But for those of you who like sweet pickles YUUUUUCK!  Oh I don’t know how many thanksgivings I acidently grabbed one of those appetizer pickles thinking it was dill and it was a sweet pickle and every time NASTY!!  Oh so gross.  HAHA  anyway the reason this is on Thinking Thin Thusday is because pickles are very LOW calories and I could eat a whole jar and be stuffed but you aren’t actually going to gain weight!  It works great!!  Let me know if you use pickles as your losing weight help!  I believe that it works.

White in or out?

I wonder do you think white jeans are in or out for the fashion this year 🙂  I always heard that you shouldn’t wear white after Labor day, but I keep seeing it, and to be honest.  I LOVE it on a lot of people!  Haha, but just like some fashions I just don’t know if I can pull it off 🙂  Or mainly can only size 0, 2, and 4 wear it or can bigger sizes wear it. Thoughts.  I just wonder what most people think now adays!  Is it in or out!  And who can wear it.  Sometimes I think now that is how you pull of white.  Other times not so much LOL is that mean of me.  Help me out give me thoughts as to what you think is white a yay or nay color and if so when do you think we should wear it Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter

I love that she says and then next week I need to solidify that fact.  So true You can do fabulous one week but ruin it the next week.  It is a continual choice.  Eat Healthy,  Stay Active, One foot in front of the other.

How Beauty makes us feel on the inside and outside

I just read an article on a blog about ideal body image and bmi and I think a lot of people get caught up in what other people say they should be.  About three years ago I lost 65 lbs doing weight watcher and reading books but I think the main key is where you feel at your best and I think most people should focus on ideal bmi but also where they feel good and even if that is a little above what is “ideal”  I think that is ok.  As long as you are relatively healthy and you are exercising to help heart health and overall health and fitness.  Anyway my thought on the idea but you should check out this blog!  Great article.
