Turkey Gobble?

25 Apr

Have you ever been to the Amusement park and been by the booth that guesses your age?  Usually on a women one of the main ways someone can guess a woman’s age is by looking at your neck and hands.  Do you have a turkey gobble?  If you do get a scarf and hide it 🙂 haha actually you need to make sure you moisturize, lighten age spots, wear spf, and exfoliate.  All the things I have talked about in other War on Wrinkle posts you need to make sure you do it all to your neck and declotee area.  Make sure you do your skin care to your bra line foundation to your jaw line 🙂  You always want to make sure you don’t end up with the younger looking face and older neck.  I do not want to end up with a turkey gobble.  So I will make sure I always do my skin care antiaging on my face, neck and hands.  If you ever have extra moisturizer or anti-aging products put the excess down your neck than on to your hands and arms.  Some people tell me that they wipe it on a towel or wash it off  AAAGH!  Why on earth would you waste perfectly good products.  You paid good money for that.  🙂  Remember take good care of your skin!  Don’t end up with a Turkey Gobble!!

Damaging Dark Spots, Freckles, and Acne Scars!

28 Mar

Do you have any of these?  I know I do.  Evening out your skin color can help you look more youthful.  Have you ever seen a child with blotchy skin?  I haven’t they always have that soft supple even skin tone.  I love baby skin so cute and perfect.  As we age our skin becomes blotchy, red, acne, brown spots none of them are very good.  But you can get lightening creams.  Some are more harsh than others and some of them work and some don’t.  Personally I want something that will work but won’t ruin my good skin.  I have seen some creams that you can only put them on the brown spots and if you don’t it will lighten the good skin.  Also some will only lighten them and if you stop using the cream they will just come back.  When you get a great lightening cream most of them will be sensetive to light and the air.  So if you get a cream or serum that is a good one it should also be packaged well.  There is no point in buying something that will only lose its potency after the first time you open it and that it just gets worse and worse.  So make sure the packaging is opaque and that it isn’t in a tub so it doesn’t get oxidized.  Gotta love evening out your skin t

Transforming your Tired Skin

27 Mar

I did a previous post on how working out can help your skin be better Click HERE but I was reading another article from a blog about what foods can help your skin change.  How the things we eat really affect how are skin is.  You can help your skin look more youthful, glowing, healthy, clear based off of some of the things you eat.  I know I have heard that berries of course of antioxidants so when you eat them you have more of it in your body, but sweet potatoes also have vitamin A and C that I have talked about earlier that can help your skin look better.  Also Salmon and specific nuts also help give you healthy fatty acids they are like carriers helping carry healthy nutrients to your skin cell membranes.  Healthy oils bring natural moisture to your skin Click Here  So interesting I know eating helps your body, losing weight, feeling better, and having more energy.  But didn’t know why exactly helps your skin.  Definitely their blog article!

Try to Moisturize Corn Flakes!

21 Mar

If you don’t regularly exfoliate dead skin cells stay on the top layer of your skin and blown up they look like corn flakes.  Do you like the picture 🙂  Moisturizing is sooooo important and I talked about that in an earlier post Click Here.  If you don’t exfoliate that layer or the top couple layers when you moisturize it is like trying to moisturize corn flakes 🙂  It won’t hydrate your living skin!  (Great visual huh)  Microdermabrasion is one of the best extra exfoliation treatments I think you can do.  It helps slough off the dead skin layers helps with collagen and you usually see benefits texture, color, and tone of your skin.  It also helps with making your pores look smaller, unclog pores, reduce appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars.  It also increases circulation and lymph flow.  Which most of these things I knew I did not know about the lymph flow.  Based off of this article Aluminum oxide crystals are the best for microdermabrasion they are hard enough to exfoliate really well, but won’t micro tear your skin like other exfoliators.  Click Here  Make sure you are weary of exfoliator masks with fruit pits they crush them and because of their jagged edges can micro tear your skin.  Which can make your skin get infllamed.  Yikes.  There are lots of brands my fav for quality and price is Mary Kay microdermabrasion.  If you break down in price per use it is under $2,00.  AWESOME!!  Most microdermabrasion sets only come with the scrub this is a two step program which has an awesome serum to follow up the scrub!!!  LOVE it! 🙂

The best skin care means getting good  nutrition into your diet. The asorbic acid contained in vitamin C can be  effective in reducing wrinkles  It also helps build natural collagen. A lot of skin creams contain a rich amount of  vitamin C. Vitamin C can play a role in destroying free radicals. It can also be a natural  way to repair damaged skin, like scar tissue. Vitamin C also plays a role in the  production of collagen as well, and also improves the appearance of  fine lines and wrinkles Vitamin C helps promote healthy skin care.  Click Here if you want to read more about it!

Rockin Rainbow Brite!

10 Mar

Ok so I love clothes and fashion in this blog its not really my focus but I have always loved hats, but I never felt like I could pull it off.  Sometimes with short hair I feel like it cuts your hair almost at the bottom so it like pokes out funny.  What do you think.  I have always love the looks.  Including this one so cute but not sure I could pull it off click HERE  What do you think?  I wish I could just every time I try it never seems to look right and I never buy them.  I am also excited for spring for all the really colorful and bright colors.  I think bright colors make you look more youthful.  haha don’t look like rainbow bright though.  I don’t think that is a good look 🙂  But how many of you love skinny bright colored jeans I see people wearing them all the time.  I still am not super skinny 8-10 depending on what brand.  So my past overweight self would say I so couldn’t pull it off.  But I think it is so adorable I just don’t like the big on top skinny on bottom.  I feel like it can make you look bigger.  So what I end up resorting too is popping color with accessories.  Jewelry I have recently learned layering your jewelry I learned that on  my cruise to Mexico so much fun.  Anyway let me know what you think 🙂
